Law enforcement distribution funds; records of revenues and expenditures; report; final accounting

Sec. 5. (1) An eligible entity receiving law enforcement distribution funds shall maintain records of law enforcement distribution revenues and expenditures separate from other funding sources. (2) An eligible entity receiving law enforcement distribution funds shall report to the commission on expenditures of those funds in a manner and on intervals prescribed by the commission. Each criminal justice in-service training program financed in whole or in part by law enforcement distribution funds shall be separately identified. (3) If an eligible entity is no longer operating, the unit of government with which it is affiliated shall immediately provide the commission with a final accounting of expenditures of law enforcement distribution funds for all years since the eligible entity last reported.
