Mich. Comp. Laws § 18.426

Sec. 6. The following policies and procedures apply to issuing grants under this act: (a) The commission shall not award grants to a professional association. (b) The commission may award grants using written grant agreements to which the commission and grantee are parties. (c) Grantees shall submit applications for grant awards to the commission in the manner prescribed by the commission. The commission shall publish grant application procedures.
