Sec. 4. (1) A dealer or agent that knowingly violates section 2(3), (4), or (5) or section 2a is guilty of a misdemeanor, punishable by imprisonment for not more than 1 year, or a fine of $1,000.00, or both. (2) A dealer or agent that knowingly violates section 2(3), (4), or (5) or section 2a a second or subsequent time is guilty of a felony, punishable by imprisonment for not more than 2 years, or a fine of $5,000.00, or both.
