Sec. 16. An airport may enact ordinances and regulations governing a limousine carrier, taxicab carrier, or transportation network company that adopt reasonable procedures and fees for operations conducted by that limousine carrier, taxicab carrier, or transportation network company on airport property. An ordinance or regulation described in this section shall be consistent with industry standards, shall not impose requirements that have the effect of unreasonably impeding service, and shall not duplicate or contradict the requirements of this act. As used in this section, "airport" means 1 of the following: (a) An airport as that term is defined in section 2 of the aeronautics code of the state of Michigan, 1945 PA 327, MCL 259.2. (b) A public airport authority created under section 110 of the aeronautics code of the state of Michigan, 1945 PA 327, MCL 259.110. (c) A regional airport authority created under section 137 of the aeronautics code of the state of Michigan, 1945 PA 327, MCL 259.137. (d) A community airport created under section 1 of 1957 PA 206, MCL 259.621. (e) An airport authority created under section 1 of 1970 PA 73, MCL 259.801.
