Sec. 83a. (1) A person holding a valid federal air carrier operating certificate or commercial operator's certificate shall not conduct flight operations in violation of that certificate. (2) A person who violates subsection (1) is guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by imprisonment for not more than 93 days or a fine of not more than $1,000.00, or both.
