Sec. 3a. (1) A person shall not refuse to allow or resist the collection of his or her biometric data if authorized or required under this act. (2) A person who violates subsection (1) is guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by imprisonment for not more than 90 days or by a fine of not more than $500.00, or both.
