Family support subsidies; payment; adjustment of amounts

Sec. 160. (1) Family support subsidy payments shall be paid from accounts as appropriated by the legislature. (2) The department, after notifying the governor and the house and senate appropriations committees, may adjust the amounts available for family support subsidies by equal apportionment in the event available revenues are insufficient to cover the obligations. The department shall not reduce the amount of the monthly payment by more than an aggregate of 25% in 1 fiscal year without written approval of the house and senate appropriations committees.
