Psychotropic drug treatment; duties of prescriber or licensed health professional

Sec. 719. Before initiating a course of psychotropic drug treatment for a recipient, the prescriber or a licensed health professional acting under the delegated authority of the prescriber shall do both of the following: (a) Explain the specific risks and the most common adverse effects that have been associated with that drug. (b) Provide the individual with a written summary of the most common adverse effects associated with that drug.
