Supplementary agreements; administration; arbitration of disputed questions of residence

Sec. 924. (1) The compact administrator may enter into supplementary agreements with appropriate officials of other states pursuant to Articles VII and XI of the compact. (2) The compact administrator shall cooperate with all departments, agencies, and officers of and in the government of this state and its subdivisions in facilitating the proper administration of the compact or of any supplementary agreement entered into by this state. (3) The department of mental health may enter into agreements with authorities of other states for the arbitration of disputed questions between those states and this state respecting the residence of mentally ill and mentally deficient persons and their return to their place of legal settlement.
