Federally or state funded employment services or job training program; services provided to candidates

Sec. 3. An agency or department that administers a federally or state funded employment services or job training program, including a service or program administered under the job training partnership act, Public Law 97-300, 96 Stat. 1322, shall, to the extent permitted by federal law, provide to a veteran who is a candidate for a program or service both of the following: (a) Effective and equitable services, including effective and equitable employment and job training services. (b) Referral assistance and a pamphlet prepared by the Michigan jobs commission that identifies employment services, job training services, and related benefits available to that veteran through other agencies or departments.
