Mich. Comp. Laws § 436.1925

Construction of act; severability

Sec. 925. (1) This act shall be construed to effect the intent and purposes set forth in this act and to protect the public health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of this state. (2) If any provision of this act is found to be unconstitutional by a court of competent jurisdiction and all rights of appeal have expired or been exhausted, the offending provision shall be severed and shall not affect the remaining portions of the act.
