Mich. Comp. Laws § 458.453

Sec. 3. Said articles of incorporation shall contain the following items: First. The name of the church and the town, village or city and the county and state where located. Second. An agreement to incorporate in the interests of religion and the spread of scriptural holiness, according to the discipline, rules and usages of the Evangelical association. Third. The number of trustees, not less than 3, who shall have charge of the affairs of said church, and the time of the annual meeting thereof. Fourth. The time for which said corporation shall be created.
