Sec. 108. As used in this code: (1) "Authorized" insurer means an insurer duly authorized, by a subsisting certificate of authority issued by the commissioner, to transact insurance in this state. (2) "Unauthorized" insurer means an insurer not so authorized to transact insurance in this state.
