Sec. 1227. (1) An adjuster for an insured shall not solicit or attempt to solicit a loss during progress of a loss-producing occurrence nor while the fire department or its representatives are engaged at the damaged premises. (2) An adjuster for an insured shall not collect or attempt to collect a fee or charge from a repair contractor for obtaining repair work for the contractor. (3) An adjuster for an insured shall not advance money or any other valuable thing to an insured pending adjustment of a claim.
