Sec. 151. (1) A certificate shall be signed and dated by the director of the department of energy, labor, and economic growth, or may be signed and dated for him by an officer of the department of energy, labor, and economic growth, if authorized by the director of the department of energy, labor, and economic growth. (2) The certificate shall signify that: (a) The plat conforms, in his or her opinion, to all of the requirements of this act and to the published rules and regulations of the department of energy, labor, and economic growth, relative to plats. (b) The plat has the approval of the director of the department of energy, labor, and economic growth.
