Mich. Comp. Laws § 567.224a

Sec. 4a. (1) Except as provided in subsection (2), property is not subject to the custody of this state as unclaimed property if its value is $25.00 or less. (2) Subsection (1) does not apply to property described in section 11a or dividends.
