Execution; time, place, adjournment

Sec. 6053. (1) The sale of real estate by virtue of any execution shall be by public sale, between the hour of 9 o'clock in the morning and 4 o'clock in the afternoon, at the court house or place of holding the circuit court in the county in which the real estate is situated. (2) The sheriff or other officer making the sale has the power to adjourn the sale for reasonable cause and for a reasonable period.
