Sec. 23b. (1) An individual appointed to the disincorporation commission shall take the constitutional oath of office. (2) A vacancy in the disincorporation commission is created in the manner provided in section 3 of 1846 RS 15, MCL 201.3. (3) If a member of a disincorporation commission vacates office, the vacancy shall be filled by appointment in the same manner as provided in subsection (1).
