Sec. 6. (1) The costs of any investigations under this act shall be paid from the reimbursements secured under this act, and the balance of the reimbursements shall be credited to the general fund of the state to be available for general fund purposes. (2) The department of treasury may determine the amount due the state in cases under this act and render statements thereof, and such sworn statements shall be considered prima facie evidence of the amount due.
