Subdivision 1. Scope.

The terms used in sections 115A.80 to 115A.893 have the meanings given them in this section.

Subd. 2. Designation.

"Designation" means a requirement by a waste management district or county that all or any portion of the solid waste that is generated within its boundaries or any service area thereof be delivered to a processing or disposal facility identified by the district or county.
