Minn. Stat. § 147.039

CANCELLATION OF LICENSE FOR NONRENEWAL.

Known as the Minnesota Medical Practice Act

The Board of Medical Practice shall not renew, reissue, reinstate, or restore a license that has lapsed and is not subject to a pending review, investigation, or disciplinary action, and has not been renewed within two annual license renewal cycles. A licensee whose license is canceled for nonrenewal must obtain a new license by applying for licensure and fulfilling all requirements then in existence for an initial license to practice medicine in Minnesota.
