MISBRANDED PRODUCTS.

Known as the Fertilizer, Soil Amendment, and Plant Amendment Law

Subdivision 1. Sale and distribution prohibited.

A person may not sell or distribute a misbranded fertilizer, soil amendment, or plant amendment.

Subd. 2. Factors causing misbranding.

A fertilizer, soil amendment, or plant amendment is misbranded if:

(1) it carries a false or misleading statement on the container, on the label attached to the container; or

(2) false or misleading statements concerning the fertilizer, soil amendment, or plant amendment are disseminated in any manner or by any means.
