Nonseverability clause

Known as the Compensating Use Tax Law

Effective: 28 Aug 2013; (L. 2013 H.B. 184 § 1 merged with S.B. 23 § 1 merged with S.B. 99 § 1)

Notwithstanding the provisions of section 1.140 to the contrary, the provisions of sections 32.087, 144.020, 144.021, 144.069, 144.071, 144.440, 144.450, 144.455, 144.525, 144.610, 144.613, and 144.615, as amended by this act *, shall be nonseverable, and if any provision is for any reason held to be invalid, such decision shall invalidate all of the remaining provisions of sections ** 32.087, 144.020, 144.021, 144.069, 144.071, 144.440, 144.450, 144.455, 144.525, 144.610, 144.613, and 144.615, as amended by this act *.
