Election in proposed district

Known as the Elementary and Secondary School District Enrollment Option Act

1. Within sixty days after receipt of approval by the state board of education of the reorganization plan or part thereof, the county clerk shall submit the question in each proposed school district wholly within the county or which has been designated by the state board of education as belonging to the county. The notices of the election shall be signed by the presiding commissioner of the county commission and the county clerk. The cost shall be paid from the incidental fund.

3. A majority affirmative vote in each district to be affected * is required for adoption of the proposed seven-director district. If the plan is not adopted, no subsequent plan involving any part of the same area may be submitted sooner than one year following the date of the submission of the question at which the plan was defeated.
