Failure to approve bonds, effect of — dissolution — funds, how rebated

Known as the Comprehensive Emergency Medical Services Systems Act

In any ambulance district created under the provisions of sections 190.005 to 190.085, which is not operating an ambulance service and in which the voters of said district have on three separate occasions refused to approve a bond issue to secure the necessary property and equipment to operate the service, the board of the district shall submit to the voters the proposition of the dissolution of the district. If a majority of the voters approve the dissolution, the district shall be dissolved and any tax money in the treasury shall be rebated to the original taxpayer on a pro rata basis.
