Harry S Truman Memorial Highway designated for a portion of U.S. Highway 24..

Known as the State Highway Utility Relocation Act

The portion of U.S. Highway 24 in Jackson County from the bridge crossing over the Union Pacific Railroad in the Fairmont business district of the city of Independence to the intersection of Noland Road shall be designated the "Harry S Truman Memorial Highway". The department of transportation shall erect and maintain appropriate signs designating such highway, with the costs to be paid for by private donations.
