The portion of State Highway 740 from.25 miles east of MO 763 to.35 miles west of Providence Boulevard in Boone County shall be designated the "SPC Steven Fitzmorris Memorial Highway". The department of transportation shall erect and maintain appropriate signs designating such highway, with the costs to be paid by private donations.
