Election of supervisors — terms — vacancies, how filled

On each municipal election day, the voters of the district shall elect one supervisor who shall hold his office for five years or until his successor is elected and qualified. Should a vacancy occur, the supervisors shall select a person to fill the vacancy who shall serve until the next regular election.
