Cooperation with federal agencies

The work of the division of geological survey and water resources may be done in cooperation with federal agencies and other state agencies. The state geologist shall be authorized to file formal cooperative agreements with federal agencies. The progress of cooperative programs shall be included in the report of the activities of the division.
