Insurance companies must keep reserve

Known as the The Workers' Compensation Law

The act spans §§ 287–287 (172 sections).

Effective: 28 Aug 1939; (RSMo 1939 § 3718)

No insurance carrier shall write any insurance against liability hereunder unless it maintains such reserves as are required by law, or in the absence thereof such reserves as may be required by the director of the department of commerce and insurance, the power to require and regulate which is hereby vested in said director.
