Stairways to be kept lighted when in use

Effective: 28 Aug 1939; (RSMo 1939 § 10228)

All stairways used in connection with the construction, repairing, alteration, removal, or any work whatsoever, on any building more than two stories in height, shall be kept lighted at all times during their use and shall have a handrail running the entire length of said stairway.
