Destruction of records

Effective: 28 Aug 1945; (L. 1945 p. 1191 § 11)

The director of revenue is authorized, at his discretion, to destroy by burning with fire, any letters, correspondence, papers and documents, remaining in the files, pertaining to the registration of outboard motors, after four years from their date.
