Date of existence — perpetual duration, exception

Known as the Missouri Cooperative Associations Act

The act spans §§ 351.010 to 351.935 (291 sections).

Effective: 28 Aug 2011; (L. 2011 S.B. 366)

1. The existence of a cooperative shall commence when the articles are filed with the secretary of state, unless a later date is specified in the articles.

2. A cooperative shall have a perpetual duration unless the cooperative otherwise provides for a limited period of duration in the articles.
