Mo. Rev. Stat. § 362.700

Agreement for merger becomes effective, when

Known as the Missouri Family Trust Company Act

1. If the agreement is so approved and ratified by the stockholders of each of the respective banks and trust companies, then in case the agreement provides for a merger, a copy of the minutes of the respective stockholders' meetings at which the agreement is approved, with a copy of the agreement and the director's approval thereof, all certified and verified by the respective secretaries of the meetings, shall be filed in the public records of the division of finance, and a like copy of the minutes, agreement and approval shall be filed with the cashier or secretary of each of the banks and trust companies which are parties to the agreement.

2. Upon the filing for record of the copies as herein required to be filed, the agreement and merger shall become effective according to its terms.
