Impermissible appointment
Known as the Missouri Uniform Powers of Appointment Act
The act spans §§ 456–456 (57 sections).
Effective: 28 Aug 2016; (L. 2016 H.B. 1765)
1. Except as otherwise provided in section 456.1040, an exercise of a power of appointment in favor of an impermissible appointee is ineffective.
2. An exercise of a power of appointment in favor of a permissible appointee is ineffective to the extent the appointment is a fraud on the power.
