Known as the Sexual Assault Prevention Act

The act spans §§ 589–589 (64 sections).

Effective: 28 Aug 1983; (L. 1983 H.B. 149, et al. § 3)

If an insurer has reason to believe that a motor vehicle theft claim made by an insured is fraudulent, the insurer may:

(1) Notify, in writing, an authorized agency of the suspected fraudulent claim; and

(2) Provide the agency with all material developed from the insurer's inquiry into the claim.
