Mo. Rev. Stat. § 589.210

Authorized agency may require information relevant to theft claim from insurer

Known as the Sexual Assault Prevention Act

The act spans §§ 589–589 (64 sections).

An authorized agency charged with the responsibility of investigating a motor vehicle theft may, in writing, require an insurer investigating that loss to release to the requesting agency any or all relevant information or evidence considered important to the authorized agency including:

(1) Pertinent insurance policy information relevant to the theft under investigation and any application for that policy;

(2) Policy premium payment records;

(3) History of previous claims made by the insured; and

(4) Material relating to the investigation, including:

(a) Statements of any person;

(b) Proof of loss; and

(c) Other evidence relevant to the investigation.
