The board of aldermen may adopt ordinances providing for the prohibition of and punishment for the carrying of concealed deadly weapons, and may also adopt ordinances providing for the prohibition of vagrancy and providing that upon conviction one adjudged guilty may be imprisoned, fined or set to work.
