Duty of peace officers of Cole County

Known as the Tobacco Settlement Financing Authority Act

Every conservator of the peace for the county of Cole shall, upon information on oath or of their own knowledge, cause any person committing waste, trespass or injury on state property at the seat of government to be brought before him by like process as in other criminal cases to cause the person to enter into recognizance with sufficient security for his appearance at the next term of the circuit court of the county, or to commit him to jail in default of his entering into recognizance.
