Exemption from competitive bidding requirements of the state

Known as the Tobacco Settlement Financing Authority Act

The act spans §§ 8–8 (158 sections).

The authority and contracts entered into by the authority in carrying out its public and essential governmental functions are exempt from the laws of the state which provide for competitive bids.
