Aged and disabled police force members — special provisions

The board may, in its discretion, make special provisions for policemen and officers who have grown old in the service, or those crippled while in the discharge of their duties so as to unfit them for active work, by assigning them to special duty at a proper salary or by making other such provisions as may be just and legal.
