(1) In addition to any other duties of the Department of Finance and Administration (DFA), by January 1, 2009, the DFA shall create a report of Mississippi-based companies that manufacture products using recycled materials. In addition to the name, location and phone number of the company, the report shall include: The name of products that are produced using recycled materials; and
(2) The percent of the product that is made from recycled materials; and
(3) The recommended use of such products by state agencies.
(4) The DFA shall negotiate a price for the purchase of the products by state agencies and political subdivisions of the state and create rules and regulations to encourage state agencies and political subdivisions of the state to purchase the products at the negotiated prices.
