Miss. Code Ann. § 49-27-19

Application; appearance at hearing by person filing objection; applicant’s burden of proof and right to hearing

Laws, 1973, ch. 385, § 5(h)(i), eff from and after July 1, 1973.

Any person who files a written objection pursuant to Section 49-27-15 may appear at the public hearing and be heard.

The burden of proof shall be on the applicant, whether a hearing is held or not; provided, however, no application shall be denied without giving the applicant a right to a hearing according to the provisions of this chapter.
