Miss. Code Ann. § 73-69-17

Duration and renewal of licenses

Known as the Mississippi Electronic Protection Licensing Act

The act spans §§ 73–73 (18 sections).

Laws, 2006, ch. 528, § 9, eff from and after July 1, 2006.

(1) Each license issued pursuant to this chapter shall be valid for a period of one (1) year from its date of issuance and shall be renewed annually, on or before the anniversary date, by forwarding to the State Fire Marshal a renewal application accompanied by the payment of the renewal fee authorized by this chapter.

(2) Each licensee renewing a Class B, Class C or Class D license shall additionally submit required documentation of having satisfactorily completed continuing education requirements as established by the State Fire Marshal.

(3) Any license not renewed on or before its anniversary date shall expire and may be reinstated only upon payment of the reinstatement fee authorized by this chapter.
