Miss. Code Ann. § 81-27-2.001

Trust business

Laws, 1998, ch. 437, § 1, eff from and after July 1, 1998.

A state trust company or a state bank may:

Perform any act as a fiduciary;

Engage in any trust business;

Exercise any incidental power that is reasonably necessary to enable it to fully exercise, according to commonly accepted fiduciary customs and usages, a power conferred in this chapter; and

If a state trust company, exercise any other power authorized by Section 81-27-4.101.
