The act spans §§ 93-20-101 to 93-20-431 (84 sections).
Laws, 2019, ch. 463, § 1, eff from and after January 1, 2020.
(1) Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, the Mississippi Rules of Evidence and Mississippi Rules of Civil Procedure, including rules concerning appellate review, govern a proceeding under this chapter.
(2) If proceedings for a guardianship or conservatorship for the same individual are commenced or pending in the same court, the proceedings may be consolidated.
