Attorney for minor

Known as the Mississippi Guardianship and Conservatorship Act

The act spans §§ 93–93 (84 sections).

Laws, 2019, ch. 463, § 1, eff from and after January 1, 2020.

The court may appoint an attorney to represent a minor who is the subject of a proceeding under Section 93-20-202 if:

Requested by the minor who is fourteen (14) years of age or older;

Recommended by a guardian ad litem; or

The court determines the minor needs representation.
