Vote-counting machine maintenance -- examination

Known as the Postelection Audit Act

The act spans §§ 13–13 (10 sections).

(1) Upgrades, patches, fixes, or alterations may not be applied to any vote-counting machine during the 30 days following a federal election.

(2) If a vote-counting machine fails an audit pursuant to 13-17-507, the vote-counting machine is subject to examination by a computer software expert in consultation with a voting system vendor.
