Purchase of anticipation notes

Known as the Municipal Finance Consolidation Act

Notwithstanding any other provision of law, an eligible government unit may issue and the board may purchase notes in anticipation of an otherwise authorized sale of eligible government unit securities. In connection with any purchase of anticipation notes, the board may by agreement with the eligible government unit impose terms, conditions, and limitations that in the board's opinion are proper under the circumstances and for the purposes and security of the board and the holders of its bonds or notes.
