Penalty for fraud

Known as the The Public Employees' Retirement Act

A person who knowingly makes a false statement or who knowingly falsifies or permits to be falsified any record of a retirement system in an attempt to defraud the system is guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by a fine not exceeding $1,000 or imprisonment not exceeding 1 year, or both.
